What you will do:

Safely and reliably transport individuals to their workplace, day service, or community outings 

Verify vehicle is in good working condition before and after transport - reporting any concerns

Communicate with individual, family members and day service or employment provider concerns during transport

Assist with individuals needs according to their service plan - such as attending to them in the store, helping them reach things, trips to the restroom, etc.

Job Type: Part-time


What you should bring:

  • Supportive and empathetic attitude
  • Current certification if you have them
  • Desire to learn more and attend trainings
  • Be 21 years of age and have a HS diploma or equivalent
  • No more than one at fault accident in 5 years, less than 4 points on drivers license - CDL NOT required
  • Pass an initial drug screening and consent to random drug screening
  • Willingness to complete background check, participate in orientation, and attend trainings for improving services to people with disabilities
