:You will be helping people in their homes, helping them stay as independent as possible.

We help people with their personal care, medications, and household tasks, but it is so much more than that.

We are a voice for our people, letting them guide us in what is important to them.

We keep them safe but allow them to be themselves.

We take them out into the world and let them experience it for themselves

All you need to help us help others is:

-Be at least 18 years of age

-Have a High school diploma or GED

-be willing to undergo a background check.

Safely and reliably transport individuals to their workplace, day service, or community outings 

Verify vehicle is in good working condition before and after transport - reporting any concerns

Communicate with individual, family members and day service or employment provider concerns during transport

Assist with individuals needs according to their service plan - such as attending to them in the store, helping them reach things, trips to the restroom, etc.

What you should bring:

• Supportive and empathetic attitude
• Current certification if you have them
• Desire to learn more and attend trainings
• Be 21 years of age and have a HS diploma or equivalent
• No more than one at fault accident in 5 years, less than 5 points on drivers license - CDL Not required
• Pass an initial drug screening and consent to random drug screening
• Willingness to complete background check and participate in orientation and training for supporting those with disabilities

What you will do:

Work in a challenging enviornment that is unpredictable and changes daily but provides a much-needed service to keep an individual independent in their own home.

Little wins can be big wins. Seeing someone change their behavior can be powerful and we want you to be a part of our team.

We take them out into the world and let them experience it for themselves, and we may be the only people who can help them do this.

Behaviors can be challenging when you assist an individual with a developmental disability and mental health issues, but the things that we can learn from them and teach them in return are invaluable.
